So Texas, Baylor and Kansas won't play A&M or Missouri unless they're in the Big 12. Do these schools really think these petty displays of butthurt will do them any good? Or A&M any harm? Sounds pretty silly to me.

I'm surprised in this from Mulkey. Blair (our coach) and Mulkey go back a long time. Blair coached Mulkey. Baylor and A&M are both sell outs at each other's University for that game. Who is Baylor going to replace that sell out game for us? We've got Tennessee coming in, so we have an adequate replacement.

Rivalry games are part of the package that comes with staying in a conference with those teams. When you tell your rivals "frick you" and run off to another conference, why would those rivals want to give you the further benefit of playing them every year?

I don't blame Texas or any other Big 12 school at all for not playing aTm. aTm is about to realize that their national footprint just got a lot bigger, but their local footprint will shrink dramatically. Texas, TCU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Baylor are going to boycott aTm and it will hurt aTm in Texas recruiting. They will do everything they can to paint aTm as a fringe program that has chosen to not be a part of the Texas football culture. When those schools visit Mama, they will pitch to her that her kid will play in Texas against Texas schools while aTm will ship their kid off all over the Southeast.

The prestige of the SEC will offset some or potentially all of this, but I don't understand why aTm fans are so shocked and offended that their old rivals want nothing to do with them after you told them to frick off.

Women's basketball is just painful to watch. The only game I watched was our national championship game, and even that looked like a bunch of girls slapping a ball around.

The funniest part of all this is the fact that baylor views our desire to keep playing texas as a desire to keep playing other former conference mates. They were quick to slam a door that was never really open for them in the first place. I keep reading on their boards about how "they" won't schedule "us" in anything anymore, as if TAMU would bend over backwards after the shite K* pulled.

Will be fun watching them rot.
