That Beat LSU the last 2 years right?
Beating LSU in the past two years doesn't make you special, unfortunately.

Xiv, your proposal is intriguing.
But maybe we need to add 5 permanent opponents so that LSU and Alabama could play each year. What would that look like? I think that Texas A&M would like to play Alabama each year on account of the Paul Bryant factor.

A&m had given their word, their 100% commitment, that they would move to the PAC 16 with TX, OU, Okie State, Tx Tech and Colorado. When A&M called to say they were breaking their commitment, they were told that none of those 5 former Big 12 schools would ever schedule them again in any sports unless they honored their word. A&M still picked the SEC.
yep, texas is honorable and a&m isn't. whatever, your homer bias is showing. you weren't on the phone with any rep to know who's telling the truth and who's not.
You think for a second if another conference gave your team a better deal or higher % of the pie they would keep their word to anyone? geeze, and you were on here talking about hypocrisy. pot meet kettle.
where's mizzou? i don't think any promises were made by anyone. Had notre dame taken the big X, nebraska doesn't bolt. Mizzou was suppose to go with nebraska, hasn't happened. Pac 10 offers the five schools, doesn't mean they agreed. had the s.e.c. offered OU, i wander if they stick to their "word". whose being honorable and who isn't?

I love it.
If we switch to 5, can we have Vandy?

quote:Impossible--with an odd number of teams, each team would have to have an even number of common opponents, or else one must have a different number of conference games. With an even number of teams in your conference, however, you can have even or odd.
