What has really been accomplished? Bigger geographic foot print and better basketball? That about it? Because it seems like you are watering down what is already fantastic a bit to me.

I don't think we'll know who the 14th team is for another year. that gives slive plenty of time to catch a big fish. Louisville is nothing more than a smoke screen imo.

Foothold in Texas with a big TV market will be the major thing.
Taking a bite out of the Big 12 will be the other part of doing this move

I don't think aTm is a bad thing, but Louisville with it takes away some of the strong points. You're splitting revenue with a bottom tier football program which really doesn't bring much to the table.

Louisville doesn't make any sense to me
they take away more from SEC than they add.

from what i've read we would play with unbalanced divisions for a year possibly. the new east team would come in a year later.
