And it was the Aggie Muster at Corregidor that gave the event its name and brought it into the hearts of a nation, turning it from a little-known event into its most solemn tradition.

How do you even know this stuff? I honestly have no clue what you're talking about, and had no idea what the jizz jar was until you posted about it.

And they were referencing actual men and women in uniform, and how their A&M background assisted them

Ask me if I think toy soldiers make better real soldiers and I'll say yes, just like Eisenhower and Bradley. You don't have to waste as much time teaching etiquette, drill and ceremony, and they tend to adapt to military life easier.

But you cats down in College Station seem to think there is something special about them before/if they ever join. I do not.

from what I know, the pumpkin thing is where once a year Company C2 takes a pumpkin and fills it with nasty arse stuff like dog shite and tries to toss it into the band dorm.

its basically the equivalent of a fraternity prank. its not that big a deal and its doubtful many students outside of the Corps have even heard of it.

Am I the only one that sees the irony in a school that has pretty much cornered the market on the phrase "T-Shirt Fan", boasting of teenage kids that are pretending to be in the military?

Your lurking on TexAgs for flames has served you well. I would say about 99.5% of the student population has no clue what any of that is, not that it matters

It didn't seem like you were saying that before.

I don't think anyone thinks they are special. I do think it prepares them very well for their future careers in the armed services, which you just referenced.

The word toy soldiers is seen as derogatory. Don't forget there are quite a few current and former military members in the Corps as well so not all of them are "toy soldiers".

Give me a fricking break. It's human shite, piss, dead roadkill and everything else you weirdos can fit into it. For a fricking month, no less.

Pretty pathetic you would lie about it. Telling.

I'm not lying.

I'm telling you exactly what a friend of mine that was in C-2 told me.

dont even start calling people liars when you have been putting up one exaggerated BS post after another up in here.

again, most Ags have no idea what it is so it would be YOU that is lying when you act like its some big tradition that everyone knows about.

Serious question: Are y'all going to do the "aggy" thing? I always thought it was kind of dumb and don't really know anyone that gets upset by it. And it's not hard to find stuff that upsets us.
