How important is maintaining Rivalry Games after all is said and done?

Should it be something that makes us go to 3 OOC games? So we can still have 1 out of division standard (UA/UT, UF/LSU) and two rotating games?
Or maybe only one rotating and one standard and 4 OOC games?
Or should it not be considered at all?
Personally if we lost the UA/UT rivalry I would be ok with that. It would suck, but it'd be ok. However, if for some reason they decided to keep Bama in the West and move Auburn to the East (via adding another team from the west). And we lost both the UA/UT and UA/AU game I would be pretty sad.

Tradition and history are part of the fabric and appeal of college football. Doing away with longstanding rivalries would not be good for the game

Giving up a sense of belonging to a conference is not good for the game. Trade-offs. Two many permanent games brings back the time when playing GA for LSU seemed like an OOC game that counted in the standings.

if you don't play someone for a while, it becomes a bit more special when you do play them...

The SEC reached its peak performance with the smallest cycle time.
