If you watch that ridiculous "herbie" award show...thank god it had Aaron Andrews...he mentions how he's "buying" into Texas A&M this season and how he "really believes" this is their year.

It is a watered down conference. TAMU can easily run the table in the Big 12.

Well, if memory serves, Arkansas lost to post-death penalty SMU right after announcing they were leaving the SWC, so there is precedent.

I wouldn't be shocked if SMU hung around for two or three quarters. Its the first game of the year against a dangerous offense. This SEC stuff has got to be a bit of a distraction for the team regardless of how much they try to ignore it.
I think A&Ms run game should wear them down eventually though and if this was the second game of the year I would expect a blowout all the way through.

I agree with you there. Probably a high scoring game but the Aggies will prevail and begin their quest to the SEC. Welcome aboard Aggies. Time to unloose the leash and let the Big Dogs run.

first half SMU will hang around. There's no way their defense can hang in. aTm will blow them out in the 4th for sure.

Not likely. We play OU in Norman where they are like 55-1 in the last several years. Could happen, but low probability.
