Without texas ATM the big 12 has a grand total of three teams in the top 25. Comparably, with ATM the SEC has 2 in the top 5, 3 in the top 10, 5 in the top 15, and a total of 9 in the top 25.

aTm has been, at least in football terms, a sleeping giant. They have a history of good football, a great stadium and a loyal fan base. What they have needed is a good coach, it appears that Sherman may have been the man they were looking for. LSU was in pretty bad shape in the 90's if you don't recall and all they needed was one good coach to get it rolling again...fricking Nick Saban
