That's my interpretation of what's going on too. It's funny to me that Texas stirred up all of this shite and now have to lie down in it. They really look bad (if you take the orange glasses off), not that those arrogant fricks care either way.

What is this guy high? He means BU right?

I think this guy is confused...and this article does not have nearly enough BU bashing for my likes...I can't even believe you posted this garbage.

What bad thing is happening to Texas in all of this?
What am I missing?

A&M is doing Texas a big favor. Both schools, for a long time, have wanted to break free of Baylor & Tech. If aggie can get it done, the Horns are freed up as well to leave......probably to the Big 10 with ND. That is what Texas has wanted for many years.

I took this to mean that he was saying this was Texas's attitude about aTm leaving.

Re-read the article dude. The "cry baby aggies" and "where they will die" comments were him paraphrasing the sentiment out of Austin, not his own. Never been a Galloway fan. When he was at DMN, I sent numerous letters to editor slamming his SEC bashing articles when the old SWC was imploding. But he nailed this one spot on.

From what I have been hearing, Texas is 100% focused on keeping the LHN going. Texas will go independent before it gives it up. LHN will serves as the regional network for Texas in the Big 10 system of networks and Texas will take $15 mill less a year from BTN payout to make everything even.

I am still stumped. People keep acting like A&M to the SEC is a devastating blow to Texas for some reason......it makes no sense.

Texas can't see that they are killing themselves but everyone can.

Come on Drunkenguy!!! How do you think that the crumbling of the Big 12 is good for UT? A&M is going to take a bigger wedge of you recruiting base and Texas will have to give up LHN and travel to the west coast every other week if PAC wants UT. Let's face it, Longhorn football is not in a better place with A&M gone. I think your horns are stuck in the clouds.

Not likely. I know everyone likes to think this will magically happen, but there is no evidence that this will be the case.

they are certainly playing this like they have tons of options and cant go wrong. theres alot of money at stake, and they do have alot, but i think they are dangerously close to overplaying their hand getting called on it. poker faces, gentlemen....

Can't imagine this ever happening. Will be a big revolt from the current members if it does. Most B1G fans do not want Texas.
