The SEC needs to schedule LSU vs Texas A&M on Thanksgiving night and move the LSU vs Arkansas game to the saturday before Thanksgiving. So that way LSU doesn't have to play anymore in Little Rock. Also move Ole Miss back to Halloween weekend.

How right you are. I went to a game at Kyle vs. SMU in 2005 or 2006, the first game of the year. It was hotter than hell and people were going into the concourse to get out of the sun. It was an afternoon game.

Never do day games at Kyle during September.

I don't think A&M will agree to a permanent date for their game against LSU.

I think pretty much everyone expects the traditional game against Texas to return in a few years.

I would. Bring it on. Thanksgiving night or first game of the season, either one works for me. First game would startup where we left off and we may have an opening at Thanksgiving if OOC would be preferable early in the season.

Things change. Time for some new traditions.

My ginger wife got nicely roasted at the 11am game just this past Saturday.

I fully support Texas A&M vs LSU being a annual home and home on thanksgiving night.

No offense, but I doubt you have much of a say in the matter.

In the minds of many fans, that may be true. But the administrators want the annual match-up against Texas, and if legislation goes through to force it, it will happen.

We'll have at least a year (and could easily be 2 since schedules should already be done by the time this would be discussed) without them as the legislature doesn't meet again until January 8, 2013. I really don't want the government involved in deciding who plays who, that is a slippery slope that noone wants to go down.

Cooler heads should prevail and we'll probably end up scheduling them as an occasional OOC but I think the annual game is a thing of the past.

Bring on LSU for Thanksgiving, or first game of the year like the old days.

As a Tiger Fan who loves to travel to away games I will never travel to Little Rock after the experience I had with their fans a few years back. It's ridiculous that any SEC team should have to play in that stadium in Little Rock. I hope this gets corrected with they add A&M and Missouri.

A&M should be the first SEC game for LSU. Sort of like old times when they'd meet the first game of the season.

Even if the game date was changed - I believe LSU would still get stuck playing Arkansas in Little Rock.

This, I had a great time in Little Rock last year, and I have nothing bad to say about the Arky fans. But that stadium sucked.
