Good damn question. Didn't think about that, but I doubt it.

Probably not since they aren't a member until July but considering they've only signed over 24 guys once in Sherman's tenure I highly doubt they are going to put up OM type numbers this year.

no but I doubt we'll get any higher than 25

No. They don't officially join the conference until July 1, 2012. Until then they play by the Big 12's rules.

No, it's not.

I think it's the 85 number that will limit A&M more than the 25, but I could be wrong.

Grey shirt is not a rule and can't really be legislated.

Didn't Petrino sign like 35 on year. Yes he did.

How's it BS? The recruit has the option to take it or leave it. No one is forcing the kid to choose the greyshirt or abandon football. It's his choice whether he wants to play for his dream school and pay out of pocket for a semester or go somewhere else. Elliot Porter said no thank you and went to Tennessee. He realized he made a huge mistake and is back where he belongs.

The mistake that LSU made with Porter was that they didn't tell him he would have to greyshirt until the last minute. By then his options were very limited. The greyshirt is fine if a kid knows that will be his option from the beginning. There is no way to defend LSU on this one.

Not anymore. Only 25 can sign LOIs.

Not sure how this recruiting class would work.
Currently A&M has 23 commits. Of those, at least Matt Davis (QB) and Logan David (JUCO DT) will be here in the Spring. Do they for all intents and purposes count towards the 2011 class (in which Johnny Manziel, Donnie Baggs, Johntel Franklin, Steven Jenkins, and Joe Cheek were all there in the spring) or the 2012 class?
