Divide All States with two teams

Really change it up...(Example ONLY) Is UK vs. UT a rivalry worth keeping? In this example, UT would lose Florida, but pick up LSU. This gives each division a 7 state footprint. Might also help us later to bring in an FSU,Clemson, etc. if their are not in the same division. This is what the Big10 did to save rivalries and increase value.
Division A:
Alabama (Auburn)
UT (UGA)
LSU (Florida)
TAMU (USCe)
Missouri (Arkie)
Ole Miss (MSU)
Kentucky (Vandy)
Division B:
Auburn (BAMA)
Georgia (UT)
Florida (LSU)
USCe (TAMU)
Arkie (Missouri)
MSU (Ole Miss)
Vandy (UK)
FIXED: removed double UK
Division A:
Alabama (Auburn)
UT (UGA)
LSU (Florida)
TAMU (USCe)
Missouri (Arkie)
Ole Miss (MSU)
Kentucky (Vandy)
Division B:
Auburn (BAMA)
Georgia (UT)
Florida (LSU)
USCe (TAMU)
Arkie (Missouri)
MSU (Ole Miss)
Vandy (UK)
FIXED: removed double UK

I like how this plan kicks Arkansas out, and has Kentucky playing in both divisions.

I actually think this is intriguing. It kind of sucks that geography is out the window and we would have to come up with lame names for the divisions, but they are competitively balanced and seem to keep all of the best rivalries (Bama-Auburn, Fla-UGA, Egg Bowl, Tenn-Bama and Auburn-UGA).

It is definitely creative and would be fun short term.

This really isn't that bad, considering we do keep cross divisional games. Very even, keeps most tradition. And travel isn't even that bad. Arky would probably get the worst of it, but it's not horrible.

I don't really have a problem with this lineup. TAMU-USCe seems like a huge geographical distance to be a cross-divisional permanent. This could suck for Arkie as well. I like the idea though.

Yeah, but you'd get it at home every other year, they could hate on each other regarding BBQ. It be the "EAST" vs the "WEST". They are pretty even strength wise. I think it'd be cool.
Best lineup I've seen to keep rivalries and balance of power while keeping travel somewhat reasonable. I'd like to see everyone's avgerage travel based on this.

Ya know what else I really like about this? ... the possibility of these cross-divisional rivalries playing in the SECCG.

I think Vandy/UK and Missouri/Arky match up better as power and rivalry.

I'm ok with that to, but I wouldn't want them to be at the end of the year so they played back to back.

Agreed - just trying to put Arkie back into the geographic fold.
I tried some other stuff - didn't really work. I really like the overall idea though.

With this setup, call Division A the Bear Bryant Division and call Division B the Vince Dooley Division.

Bryant and Kramer divisions

I like it a lot.
similar to the "zipper" concept that was proposed for the Pac12. Split the teams in states that have 2 (OM/MSU, Bama/AU, UT/Vandy).
I would propose swapping Ark and Missouri, so that the 2 new teams are in opposite divisions.

hell, i may be the only one that likes this but it seems balanced and does allow for rivalries to continue.

With 14 teams, does LSU play UGA once in a 6 year span at home and then once in Athens in the next 6 years span?
Ugh...
Ugh...
