But sources close to OU say, up to this point, the Sooners have made a decision to go with Texas and not break up one of college football's most unique rivalries."

This does not surprise me. Props to A&M for telling Texas to frick off.

The effort is being led by commissioner Dan Beebe
Imagine that.

Somebody likes being a commissioner.

J.V. "Pinky" Wilson's First Verse:

Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck
Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck
All hail to dear old Texas A&M
Rally around Maroon and White
Good luck to dear old Texas Aggies
They are the boys who show the real old fight
That good old Aggie spirit thrills us
And makes us yell and yell and yell
So let's fight for dear old Texas A&M
We're going to beat you all to
Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem
Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem
ROUGH! TOUGH! REAL STUFF! Texas A&M!

Sources close to the SEC/Texas A&M talks say Oklahoma is still listening to proposals from the SEC. But the sources said the SEC is not interested in Oklahoma State. Trying to split OU and Oklahoma State could cause resistance in the Oklahoma Legislature

I hope this is not true. If so, Slive is a doofus.

I'd love to have OU, OkSt, and A&M join the SEC... and leave Texass twisting in the wind.

Two Big 12 sources said Texas president Bill Powers, a California-Berkeley graduate, has been the driving force in convincing UT's nine-member regents board the Longhorns' future belongs in the Pac-10.

I would love to have UTx in the SEC, but quite honestly, those hippy pussies really fit in well with the PAC-10. They have that same elitist assholiness of those hairy armpit chick schools...

TAMU and OU really fit in well with the SEC.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

The city of Austin itself is a total anomaly. It's almost as if somebody picked up San Francisco and dropped it right smack dab in the heart of Texas.

That's true. He probably has 12 columns pre-written with a new rumor, ready to publish before Tuesday.

IF OU and A&M go to the SEC don't think UT would play both of them every year in football
