this would need to be changed up...flip flop Auburn and Kentucky

Question is what would be more important AU/Bama or UGA/AU and Tenn/Bama

or do you put all 4 (Bama/UGA/Tenn/AU) in one pod

I just think that having Vandy and UK in the same pod is unfair...

cant see putting 4 traditional powers in the same pod, would be pretty unfair.

I almost put UT, Bama, AU and UGA in one pod so those teams could keep their games with each other. But I remember Bama and AU fans claiming that the Iron Bowl was not as important as the other games. So I split them apart to save trees.

Thought this was drivel?

I don't think there is anyway Bama and Auburn wouldn't be in the same pod.

How do you schedule 8 SEC games?

Rotate the SEC CG between Dallas and Atlanta.

This would devastate the rest of the country. No other conference would win a NC ever again.

Wouldn't devastate A&M at all. I'd love that scenario.

Texas would be devastated, though.

You don't. You play two from each pod and the three from your pod. That is 9 conference games per year.

That's what I'm saying. A team runs that gauntlet then plays some someone from the PAC-Whatever or any others...the rest of the conferences would be crying foul.

ETA: Slive would say..ok, what pod wants the NC this year?

The pod idea is pretty sweet. I'd need to think about how to do it to best keep things competitively balanced and geographically close. Maybe keep the one perm rival idea to help preserve some of the traditional rivals (you gotta keep AU-Bama, Fla-UGA, Ole Miss-Miss State, Bama-Tenn and AU-UGA).

And I'd say do semi-finals in Nashville and Dallas, keep the SECCG in Atlanta, and have the Sugar Bowl in N.O. for the SEC champion.

this part isnt happening. it would be the 2 best records playing for the SEC title.

i think the title game could be moved around to dallas, houston, new orleans, and atlanta based on the new geography though.

If it comes to fruition just remember where you heard it. The caller's sincerity and back story coupled with the fact that Finebaum hasn't revisited it, makes me wonder.

Finebaum is a lot of drivel but he has some legit guests that know their shite. The "callers" are a necessary evil. I recommend going to his site and listening to the guest pod casts, weeds out all the bullshite/commercials...

keep dreaming brah. A&M would still be the only Texas school in the SEC and you would have just lost your two biggest rivals.

Chicken, r u related to the Dixie Chicken :) You have waaaay to much love for aggy to not have some aggy blood lines.

As to the original OP, OU would be awesome but they keep stoning us in the media so I don't expect to see them signing up.

Now if UT turns down Pac12 who is to say they will accept OU? Dunno.

Boring. I'd hate this, except LSU right now would be on top.

I never got where the OU Ok St to the Pac?? came from. It's almost 1400 miles to LA from Norman and 1500 to Eugene Or.
