you tell us we are the lazy ones when its clearly you who is completely unwilling to do the research.
then when you get it, you ignore it.
now you are trying to play the well I'm right b/c some didn't have immediate answers card.
Why can't you just admit you are wrong?

I know what the AAU is. And I know what research is conducted at AAU schools.

Once again, your lack of knowledge on this subject is baffling, and it is completely unsurprising that you, like every other anti-research moron I have ever encountered, base your entire opinion on obscure studies from the liberal arts and social sciences that make up a very small percentage of overall funding.
Yes, a lot of those studies shouldn't be funded and that money should go to more worthwhile projects, but they are hardly indicative of the research that goes on at AAU institutions as a whole. The fact that you focus your entire argument on these outliers simply highlights why you are incapable of constructively debating this issue.

Well, A&M already genetically engineered the maroon carrot, so I feel confident we could pull off a maroon corndog
And the maroon bluebonnet.
Don't waste time on corndogs. How about maroon bermuda grass so Kyle Field can have the first colored non-artificial, non-painted playing surface?

BEST. IDEA. EVER.

He won't believe it until he sees the maroon corndog.

looks like the guy who posted the handful of goofy research projects needs to look up some research on the pratfalls of debating by using anecdotal evidence
That being said, I don't doubt there are lots of examples of dumb research and lots of examples of "problems" being over-hyped to keep the research spigot flowing. It's government, so by definition there will be ineptitude.
