cut the ticket prices in half and you sell out the entire stadium. I live here but didn't go, went last year and honestly I don't see why I would pay that much to go again.

Goodness that is bad.
How in the world do the Aggies not sell out Dallas with double the Alumni base and it's in Texas?

its extremely hard to justify for most people, especially in a crappy economy.
So what this Dr. RC character is saying is that those poor, toothless, shoeless Arkansas fans (no offense, Hogs, pure hyperbole to play into the Aggie snobbery) have more money than dear ole Texas A&M, since Arkansas had more fans there and drove longer distances?

There were also plenty when this series first started that wanted nothing to do with JerryWorld and preferred the game to be a home and home or at the Cotton if it really had to be in Dallas.
That's some bullshite revisionist history there, my friends.
Give it up, agroids. You are legends in your own mind, and shite the bed for the world to see.

Throw in the fact that any Arkansas fan/student coming from Fayetteville had to have at least one night at a hotel, and you have a strong point.
I drove from Fayetteville and paid for two at the Anatole back in June. Could have only used one, but nobody knows game time until the week of.

I was at the game. Arkansas side was packed in pretty good while we didn't sell it completely out we did bring in a bunch of people. Texas A&M was disappointing in every way imaginable except for an apparent ability to see the future.. A drunk A&M fan i was talking to in the whiskey/beer line at half time told me there was no way they would hold a lead and that this team could frick up a wet dream.

I wonder what the ole boy is doing about now, ha.
Y'all do realize the Aggies have almost never had to play outside of the state of Texas until the Big12. Even in the Big 12.. 3 games were always in Texas not including their home games.
They now will play literally every road game outside of the state of Texas if they don't play UT.

Well to be fair if i was an aggie fan and been witness to 4 losses in 3 years i'd quit showing up to jerry's world also.

It seemed the aggies were louder than the hog fans through 3 quarters in spite of being out numbered... Granted they had something to cheer about. I was in section 434.

0-4 in Jerryworld has to make them hate that place.
I predict next year we will even have more fans, and they will have fewer.
I can't imagine not traveling to a neutral site game vs a top 20 team only 3 hours away from home. Its an opportunity that Aggies will appreciate more once they start SEC play and realize they are a day's drive from anybody else.

I was in 329, we definetly weren't all that loud while we were getting whipped but as soon as the second half started everyone was awake and drunk enough to start a ruckus.

Did yall have any aggies in your section. We had 4 or 5 in my section. I almost felt bad for them. They were not very well liked during the first half and took a bit of a ribbing in the second half.

We had a few but they were pretty quiet while winning and were gone as soon as we came back.

I gotta say I am not very fond of the neutral site game experience. I had a few beers before the game and seeing aggies cheering against the hogs pissed me off.
Especially when they scored right before half time. I had just got down to the Miller Light Plaza outside. It took alot to keep my cool.

I can't imagine not going to Dallas now that i have been. The stadium is awesome the crowd was pretty intense when the game wasn't looking like a blowout in the making. Sure drinks were expensive but frick missing out on the party that is the southwest classic.

There were plenty of good seats empty on their side as well.
So did someone just photoshop that picture where our side was full?

I was there all three years and this years showing by yall was pitful. Your crowd is awful besides the gay corps who drone on the same regardless of the game that's actually being played.

That stadium was a crazy experience. I bet it could rock with the top closed and a packed home crowd. It is NFL to the extreme though.

I've been every year and each year more Hog fans show up, its turned into an Arkansas party both tailgating and during the game.
Posted on 10/3/11 at 12:01 am to oklahogjr
Yeah its FUN.
I was in 244. We had a few Aggies in our section. I felt bad for them and told them good game as they walked out.
I have been all three years and I will probably go next year. Its a good experience. Plus, we always win.
