Geez guys park at Six Flags and park all the way in the back, it's an easy walk from there. It's only 15 bucks.

I don't really blame anyone not wanting to pay those prices.
The stadium atmosphere sucks. The JerryTron is so big it distracts from the game.
Its a pain in the arse to get in and out of. Its in the middle of nowhere bar/restaurant wise and the public transportation/cabs are non existent in Arlington so drinking is pretty much out. I am going to have a hell of a lot more fun down in BCS or up in Fayetteville anyway b/c there is no central location for Aggies and Hogs to hang out at near the Death Star.
The worst thing is the prices are completely ridiculous. Its cheaper for me to buy a 50 yard line seat, drive down to College Station and stay two nights in hotel than it is to drive from Dallas to Arlington, park and buy a seat up in bumblefrick on the 30. I've spent more on this game than I did going to several bowl games.
I would be thrilled if this game went to a home and home. Right now I doubt I'll go back after this year. Its just not worth the coin.

I actually disagree with that, jerry world was rockin for the LSU/UO game.

sorry, I just don't like the way it is there.
too many distracting bells and whistles.
I have been to a Coyboys game, an Arky/A&M (going to this years too) and last years Cotton Bowl and each time I felt it was a dull, sterile, and lifeless ode to corporatism run amok.
Give me the old Cotton Bowl in Fair Park anytime. Hell, I'd rather watch a game at Independence Stadium in Shreveport than Jerry World b/c at least it will be outside where football is meant to be played.

I agree with both of these things. I had awesome seats for the game last year and still couldn't stop myself from watching the scoreboard every damn play. I'm also just not a fan of the way the stadium sets up. I love stadiums were the seats are all together but at Jerry World there are so many levels and sections that you just feel like the crowd is all over the place. Not sure if it makes any sense but it just doesn't seem conducive to making the kind of noise you get at Tiger Stadium, BDS or Sanford for example.

Read the posts in the thread that you linked. No one wants to deal with Jerryworld, $40 parking, and $225 tickets.
Quoting an Arlington local who drives a roundtrip of seven hours for all A&M home games:
"I live in Arlington and make all Aggie home games and drive there and back each game day. I haven't been to a game in Jerryworld and have no desire to pay the prices they ask and sit in the 4th level and be a half mile from the field. The stadium is horrible. It's pretentious, too large, seats are a mile from the field, drinks and food outrageously priced, parking fees are a joke. I'm not spending $500 to go to this game. I'll watch from home and have the best view I can get and have no regrets doing so. I've taken tours of the stadium and I knew the I would never to to a game there. Horrible place. If st the cotton bowl, I would have gone. I'm not putting a cent into Jones' pocket."

I took the trip earlier this month. It was worth every penny. $10 shuttle from my hotel, $50 ticket. Gas was a lot, nut dallas isnt as far as going to atl, or the east schools.

Wait until saturday, buy tickets as cheap as possible. Tailgate for football. Watch football. Walk over and tailgate for baseball. Watch baseball. Continue tail-gating.

Well not cheaper just more of it to offset the prices inside.

Wait a minute, your link is a post on Texags?
Im willing to bet neither team is going to sell out their side.
Two pages and not one person on this thread actually looked at the link?
I can still buy tickets right now on the Arkansas side.

HAH, no.
This is from their FAU game last year at kickoff and 8:00 into the first. That second one is their student section.
