Bonfire would continue if we were playing in the NAIA. Also, I wasn't involved in build but obviously admire those who were. I think it would lose some intensity from the student body as a whole if LSU were to replace the sips though.

Agree with PowerTool I don't care if we build it for t.u. or any other school it was the process of building it ... the busting your arse alongside other Aggies Corps/non-reg alike ... all for the common cause that made it awesome.

You SEC guys would've liked the Bonfire atmosphere. It was pretty ruthless. Thin-skinned or weak people didn't last long. It was life in the raw, very tribal, but in the end like a brotherhood.

Built my share of bonfires out of Law Hall back in the good old days. Cut and Stack were both good times. And of course, burning that bad boy the night before beating the ever-living hell outta the Horns was an exhilarating experience. Damn I miss bonfire.

I never heard about that until after I'd graduated. But I did attend a longhorn hex rally once, and it was riveting.

I used to go to them all the time back in late 80's when I was in High School in Huntsville. We'd tell our parents we were going to study, and then head down the road to the bonfire. Good times

I tried to go one year, but there was a big log jam in college station so I said "frick it" and turned around
