It's called being hypocrites when those same arguments were used to defend NOT letting you in 20 years ago, yet they are used by you now.

Yeah, I am so arrogant for calling out hypocrites.

Really? So the only acceptable opinion of anyone from Arkansas and South Carolina is pro-expansion, because we are not charter members? What the hell makes you think you can decide what someone else's opinion is for them? Arrogant. a-hole.

Honestly, you just sound like you have no clue what you are talking about. Cajun country is nothing like the rest of the south and yet you are claiming that it is the epitome of southern. life

No, but you can keep trying to repackage your flawed argument and sell it if you like. I pointed out that LSU's culture is predominantly based on Southern Louisiana culture, not North Louisiana culture which you claim Arky is like.

That culture is quite different also than Mississippi, Tennessee, UK, and BAMA cultures. Keep trying to act like Arky is a perfect fit though.

Who cares what your are any other fan thinks about our opinion. We have been a member for 20 years now, we aren't getting kicked out and we aren't leaving anytime soon despite what you may think.
I for one was very glad when Arky became part of the SEC, and USC also. You've both added a lot. So that said, I'd just as soon keep it like it is, or if we must expand, do it gradually and add aTm and maybe Clemson, WVU, FSU or GA Tech (just two teams total). I think 4 teams all at once might push the SEC culture into a place we fans don't want to be.

exactly.

Its not like we joined just the other day. Any Arkansas fan under 40 has more SEC memories than anything else.

I like the SEC how it is. I don't want to see it blown up into something nobody recognizes.

I see reading comprehension for "Flagship" fans is still a problem. It's hypocritical to use those same arguments used against you 20 years ago to be ANTI-expansion. You can be anti-expansion for plenty of reasons, but claiming "too different a culture" and "weak TV markets" is utterly hypocritical and retarded coming from Arky and USCe fans.

The voting should be for charter members only.

See what happens when you let a couple of brawds join the men's country club. Shiite goes down hill real quick.

Arky doesn't fit traditional SEC culture to this day, which is what makes it so hilarious. They act like they are SEC traditionals and are the same culture, but Arkansas and Mizzou are closer culturally than Arky and any other SEC state.

Culturally, Arkansas is VERY similar to other SEC cultures. You obviously know very little about us.

i remember it too. i also remember that many of us thought we were adding texas and texas a&m and we ended up with arkansas and usce. the texas legislature killed the two texas schools movement by threatening to remove their funding (they were protecting texas tech and baylor). also, texas was not a good football team at that time (a&m was much better) so they weren't as "entitled" as they are right now. frankly, other than darrel royal and mack brown, texas has been pretty weak in football no matter what they say. now, they think their poo-poo smells good.
