Expansion now doesn't have the same reasoning.
Arkansas and South Carolina are Southeastern states.
Texas and Missouri aren't.
The two expansions really aren't comparable.

In your limited paradigm, Vandy, Tennessee and Kentucky aren't very good fits with the SEC culture, either.

I've been all over the South. North Louisiana is very different from the rest of the Southeast outside of being overtly religious. It's closer to East Texas than Mississippi and Alabama in my opinion.

I'm not against expansion, and would welcome A&M and FSU to the club. But if someone wanted to make an argument against it, it's certainly their prerogative. You come across as an arrogant a-hole who thinks they can tell someone else what to do. You ain't nobody's boss. frick off.

Um, very different culturally than North Louisiana which parts of Arkansas claim to be like.
Plus, those 3 are CHARTER members.

Arkansas is a southeastern state. Yes, there's a small slice that has a bit of midwestern flavor, but there are parts of Florida that feel like Queens and other parts that feel like Cuba. Does that mean Florida isn't culturally a fit for the SEC?
Arkansas and Carolina have been in the SEC for longer than any college kid today can remember, and longer than most have been alive.
We are as much a part of SEC 2.0 as anybody else.
And if you're so mad about Arkansas and Carolina, I would think you might like that other SEC fans oppose bringing in more new members, especially new members that are even further removed from your SELA view of the world.

almost everyone moaning about Clem/Mizzou
Geuax 2002 is right. Grow a pair and stop bitching. If you are the "flagshit" or a "powerhouse" than nothing can stop your program and screaming about who/how/why something doiesn't fit to you is just stupid....the world doesn't revolve around any of us
