It is amazing how quickly the acceptance of us joining has caught on.
Nope. I ain't accepting a damn thing until Arkansas gets a formal apology for all the shitty things said and done when we decided to GTFO, along with a signed acknowledgement that we are in fact 20 years smarter than you.

Actually looking forward to A&M being in the SEC. It will be interesting to see if it is as rocky a ride for you guys. I hope Free Shoes U comes along and makes it 14.

As it regards the potential Big 12 school/SEC lawsuit, there are a few things to consider.
1. It is hard to fathom that at some point the last 2 years that there has not been some form of email between some member of the SEC referencing the desire for the Big 12 to die or the thought that bringing in A&M will result in the death of A&M. It will be argued with the talks between the SEC and A&M last year that this is just a continuation of the strategy that was foiled the previous year. Does it have merit? Probably not but it brings up point #2
2. I am not sure that the SEC is much more worried about the potential backlash from what can be leaked from the fact that the Big 12 would have the rights of discovery. You are talking about a real pain in the a$$ for all the SEC schools. Like any other conference, there is a lot of dirty petty little secrets that could be potential damaging in the minute media cycle we live in today.
3. I am not sure that the SEC is willing to actually fight to get A&M. In many ways it is starting to look like the end game for the SEC was never just A&M and instead the intent was hopefully to grab one of the big 2 teams in the Big 12. As much as people keep saying that A&M will substantially increase the SEC media deal, the numbers really don't overwhelming support that. The only way this is actually correct that if the current deal is significantly undervalued, which has two major trains of thought on valuation. Either it is undervalued due the Pas-12 deal or over valued due to the current economic conditions. Remember that it will take A&M having to generate approximately 46M to give a 2M per team bump from 20 to 22M and pay for themselves...
There is a lot there to really ponder on all of this. If A&M goes independent for a season their AD is going to be in severe trouble with no media deal or Big 12 revenue from the previous year due to leaving the Big 12. It is hard to believe that A&M's AD can come out even remotely stable after a loss of approximately 40 to 50M of projected revenue over a 2 year span.

Great conferences are full of strong opponents. Opponents that respect each other. That doesn't describe the Big 12 -2 and still counting. This conference is diseased and dying and has been for years. Please Aggies, just get out.

Exactly. If I were an Aggie, as soon as a finished with my sheep, I'd beat random Baylor fans until this situation is resolved.
Does Baylor even have fans?
