After the quake last week I started a thread on the SECr that said the quake was a 5.8. If it was a 5.7 it would have been in Atkansas.
It got deleted after about an hour

This can absolutely be effective short term if y'all continue to improve, we struggle big time early in the SEC and the whorns continue last year's struggle.
The biggest "what if" to me is what happens to OU's recruiting if they go elsewhere. They basically live off their Texas recruiting and I think it would really struggle if they aren't playing in the state as frequently.

SunHog has to be someone's sock.. this guy is gold.

If someone spends that much time and effort researching flight distances in the name of sock, then I'm officially scared shitless.

This is my favorite... From page 2:
Nothing like insinuating you have "airplanes" and talking down to those "stupid college kids" by insulting their math skills.

You obviously don't have airplanes, lol.
Utterly stupid statement. Yes there is a large difference between 200 mile or more distances in Air Fuel and Pilot costs.
Can you stupid college kids even do math?

Obviously SunHog's (or whoever he represents) NetJets membership lends himself to a deeper understanding of the travel industry and its close relationship with collegiate athletics.

These turd burgers will thank me 10 years from now. The real world sucks and why lie to them, ha. It's fun if you can kick arse in the real world, might as well get them ready now.
Acting like there is no difference in cost of fuel and piloting a certain sized jet is totally not true. Chartering planes is by the hour and flight time along with hours of operation on the runway take off and landing.
If you own your own plane you pay those pilots salaries plus maintenance costs and flight time including taxing on and off runway etc.
It's not cheap.
Everyone loves to see who's dick is bigger on this board so It's to much fun to pass up not to join in.

I know the business of chartering planes, thanks.
If you think 100 (and that's probably an overestimation) more charter flight hours per season are going to adversely affect the bottom line of a collegiate athletic program in the slightest bit, you are mistaken. Besides, there have been plenty of guesses about how the SEC will renegotiate their TV deals after A&M and the 14th team's entrance. Some have estimated the renegotiation could result in per year television allotments in the 25+ range per university.
Furthermore, there have been rumors that the SEC would pull back some first and second tier games in all sports to vertically integrate into a full blown SEC network which could result in allotments well beyond the 30+ mark. Vertical integration is the future of sports. This will culminate in the elimination of the middle man (ESPN, CBS, etc.) and will allow sporting leagues/conferences/etc. to make the most money on what is essentially their product.

I'm totally in the mood to screw with the board. I'll keep the punches coming.
The old lady is gripping about the laundry now and I don't want to help.

I'm glad you do because so do I. I work for a large firm in Los Angeles.
This is my outlet to be a kid again and screw with people on the message board blowing off steam in a fun way. It's almost fantasy world.
People take message boards way to damn serious.
I wanted the SEC to start a network years ago like the Big10 but that didn't happen. I really, hope this would bare fruit.
What have you heard about this integration? I'm very interested in hear about this upcoming deal with Google and the Pac12. I hope we are in the mix for this as well.
