If/When O gets the axe, top three (realistic) picks for Head Coach and Coordinators?

Feel free to throw out potential position coaches or positions on the coaching staff.

Mine:

HC - Matt Campbell

OC - Garrett Riley (SMU OC)

DC - Marcus Freeman (Cincy DC)

DL - Tracy Rocker (South Carolina DL coach under Muschamp)

If we’re firing O over title IX, we Might as well just clean house and go with a full staff to start over.

HC Steve Sarkisian

Offense
Co-OC/QB Major Applewhite
CO-OC/TE/AHC Butch Jones
WR/PGC Cortez Hankton
OL Kyle Flood
RB/STC Larry Porter

Defense
Co-DC/RGC Ryan Nielsen
Co-DC/PGC Kris Richard
RC/DB Karl Scott
DL Bo Davis
LB Rod Wilson

S&C Aaron Feld

Why would Ryan Nielsen go from DL coach in the NFL to glorified DL coach in college?

He wants to be a defensive coordinator. Make him DC then. I just threw Richard out there because I want one of the 2

He could probably be a NFL DC though.

He could be. Might be the Saints if Dennis Allen moves on to be a HC. But if he doesn’t get an NFL job, he’d be my top choice

Got to get a smart offensive mind that the program doesn’t shake and cross it fingers everyone one leaves! He has to live for recruiting!
1. Napier
2. Freeze
3. Campbell

HC - Matt Campbell /sustained and improved Toledo, built Iowa St from the scrap heap, and runs a really good offense.

OC - Jeff Lebby (what he has done at UCF and Ole Miss is crazy). Second choice would be Phil Longo

DC - Pete Kwiatkowski /this guy has been one of the most consistent DCs in the country since he got to Washington. He's also put several defensive players in the NFL every single year except 2019. Pay that man.

OL - we need a better recruiter, he's awful. All the really good ones out there are assistant or Associate head coaches with huge salaries.

Let whichever Coach bring in his own staff, obviously.

I'll play along.. Assuming someone like Campbell gets to bring a couple of his guys along with him.

I'd also keep a few guys because of past performance and their relationships with the players.

Head Coach: Matt Campbell

Offense
OC/ TE - Tom Manning
QB/PGC - Joel Gordon
WR - Mickey Joesph
OL - Tim Polasek
RB/STC - Kevin Faulk

Defense
DC - Marcus Freeman
DL - Charlie Partridge
DB/PGC - Kris Richard
CB - Corey Raymond
LB - Bobby April III

HC- Pat Fitzgerald He is a hell of a coach that has had a great program with VERY high standards off the field! He is a perfect guy to right the ship if he is willing to leave Northwestern.

OC- Ronald Curry saints WR coach
