In his two stints as an interim for USC and LSU, Orgeron has a grand total of ONE WIN against a team with a winning conference record:

At USC (6-2), all but one of his wins were against very bad teams:

W Arizona (4-5)
W Utah (2-7)
W Oregon St. (4-5)
W Cal (0-9)
W Stanford (7-2)
W Colorado (1-8)

L Notre Dame (9-4)
L UCLA (6-3)

At LSU (4-2), he has lost to every opponent with a pulse. All of his wins are against very bad teams:

W Missouri (1-6)
W Souther Miss. (3-4)
W Ole Miss (2-5)
W Arkansas (3-4)

L Alabama (7-0)
L Florida (6-2)

But he "can only beat who is on the schedule" right? Sure. But the cold, hard facts are that Orgeron has never consistently beaten good teams. Not as the HC at Ole Miss. Not as the interim for USC except for stanford. And not as the interim for LSU.
