Dude, he's right. The south is laid back (I've lived there), but the Midwest does live in the past too often.

Yea I am sure Meyer is leaving that program to go to UM. Please tell me why? UF job is heads above (understatement) over the UM job.

It's easier to win at UM than the SEC. In the SEC, you have LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee contending every year, and Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, and South Carolina to worry about upsetting you.
At Michigan, you have to beat Notre Dame, tOSU, and then worry about Wisconsin and Penn State every couple of years.
The path to a MNCG is much easier through the Big 10.
