Doubtful, and nearly irrelevant. LSU is a place you go to win championships. MSU has a difficult ceiling to break through.

Do you really think the state of Michigan, and its ultra-bleeding heart liberal governor is going to let a black coach leave a state university?

Tucker was going to stay at Colorado until MSU offered to double his salary. MSU will counter if LSU offers.

I’m not saying he is LSU’s guy, but IF LSU came a calling....

Tucker knows he is currently in a conference that tried to sabotage college football in order to sway a presidential election.

If LSU wants him, he’s comin.

It won’t be up to Michigan’s governor. It will be up to Woodward and whether or not he wants to offer Tucker the job. Do I have to remind you of a previous coach who left Michigan for LSU? Turned out to be the best decision of his career.

If Saban was being paid top 15 coach money at MSU who says he comes to LSU. Tucker is being paid top 15 money and has an open checkbook for his staff. So, things are different this time around.

He already makes $5.5 million a year.

MSU would match up to over $6 million.

Meaning LSU would be paying close to $7 million (if not more) for Tucker.

I don't see Woodward making that offer.

If Woodward thought he was the guy he would pay him over 7 no doubt.

Saban came because he saw the potential at LSU. The checkbook isn’t just open for the head coach or assistant coaches. LSU has already proven they are willing to pay more for coaches than anyone in college football anyways. The benefit of LSU also extends to the recruiting, state support, and open checkbook for facilities/football administration. That’s what Saban saw and if Tucker has a rational cell in his body he will see it as well.

I don’t know if LSU would pay that for Tucker, but the numbers being thrown around are 8 years $100 million for the right coach. LSU is willing to go up to $12 mil per year for the right guy

Not sure he would jump ship for a rebuild at LSU where our rabid fans may run him out after 3-4 years. Today's win solidified his status at MSU for years to come and he has a good thing going already. He agent will shop around so he can get a raise to keep him there.
