Or somebody like that? Because Saban will not be able to hire anyone like Crowton.

His staff would be weak.

Saban has a mediocre staff at bama, but I think Crowton would have a chance to stay on board at LSU. He is so much more qualified than Applewhite that it's laughable.

Nobody would want to put up with his bullshite.

Major Applewhite will be a successful head coach one day, but Saban hired somebody in his late 20's to be his OC at Bama....fricking pathetic.

I think Saban and Crowton would be a perfect fit. Let me qualify by saying I don't want saban back.

Nick would want someone strong on offense so he can concentrate for on the defensive side of the ball.

Nick has to respect Crowton and let him do his thing.

I'd have to see that to believe it. Crowton isn't a young punk looking to climb the ladder.

I just don't see Crowton working for Saban.

Or maybe Jimbo back as OC?

People aren't thinking about that...

His staff would be weak...and personally, I think we'd take a step back. Right or wrong, that's my opinion.

We don't need a turnaround specialist...we don't need someone to come in and renovate the whole thing.

He'd never be able to hire a staff like Miles has.

People may not be crazy about Miles and he may not be the megacoach people want to live vicariously through and that's understandable but he hires a better staff, at least offensively than Saban.

not sure if you're being serious, but I doubt Jimbo would do another tour with Saban. Don't think that any of his prior assts. would be excited about being mistreated next season.
