Many around here feel that Miles should never be judged unless everything with the team is under ideal conditions ie 5th year senior starting QBs etc.

total bullshite from the king of total bullshite.

no one ever said Les can't be judged. just judge him on his merits (51-14) with an honest and realistic assessment of our so-called 'beast' talent and whatever crap the football gods can throw at him.

When you think the sky is falling, just close your eyes and remember the end of the Ole Miss game. He's that good.

I see the Iowa QB complete a 56 yard TD pass at the end of the game..he's just that good..

I see 4th and 1 with LSU up 3 with 1:30 left in Little Rock Rob Sale telling Nicky to go for it but no Nicky yells and screams Kick the Field Goal. Oops LSU loses by 1 after dominating. Nicky sucks.

so we've just been losing 8 more games than our SEC West king over the last 2 years because we have less talent? How do we have less talent or less experienced QBs etc when Miles has been bringing in his talent for 5 years and Saban is only in year 3 at Bama?

Let me take a stab at this. Saban is the best coach in the NCAA.

I may tend to agree also, but his lifetime bowl marks need to improve..sucked at MSU..lost to superior Texas with a flu-ridden team..blew to Iowa via benching Russell and last play..barely beat Colo in Shreve..stunk vs Utah..

Needs to whip Texas @ss and represent the SEC!

It shouldn't buy him time but it will. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get another contract extension if/when we are victorious in the Capital One Bowl. Maybe Skip can shoot for a 20 million dollar buyout, that way Miles will feel safe and never look to greener pastures! Thank goodness!

To the Victor goes the spoils!

I think you are correct. Lets use bama as an example. They lose to Fl. in the SECCG. They would have 24 regular season wins in 2 seasons but nothing to show for it. Miles has to beat the good teams in the SEC when it counts. His biggest problem is he cant coach, he is like a
CEO. He can hire coaches, but the team is only as good as the coaches he hires.
