Would Alabama consider rehiring Sunseri as LB coach?

Wouldn't mind it. Given time Sal would make UT's defense pretty good IMO. It's always painful trying to put in a radically different system with players you didn't recruit to play it. Players make mental errors all over the field, and as a result end up missing a lot of tackles.

If you'll recall, Bama's defense in 2007 wasn't exactly that hot, and we have one of the best defensive minds in the game as the head coach.

Thompson is probably the better recruiter, but I haven't completely forgiven him for bailing on us for Lane Kiffin and talking shite about us up there. I also think Vinny would be more comfortable with Sal on the sidelines. So, I'd take Sunseri over Thompson, but I'm not sure Saban is just going to dump him on the streets. We might find a position for Sal
