You can't see the difference now, really? Teams like LSU, Bama, Georgia, etc. would just 3 deep their roster and look dominant over all other teams. You don't see that anymore. Why? Because everyone spends now and poaches. You can't keep depth. So you have parity everywhere. The sport is much more competitive now. It's not even a debate. If you can't see this you're pretty blind.
Revisionist history and confirmation bias.
Most of the teams you're remembering as dominant had close wins and a loss or two, other than some truly elite teams like 2019 LSU or 2020 Alabama.
Ten years ago, Baylor was like #2 in the country. Memphis was ranked, so was Temple.

You don't see the lack of dominance across NCAA today? You must not watch much football. In those eras I could tell you a few teams that looked far and away better than anyone and it wasn't close. SEC dominated for decades and now it can't even sniff a NC game. You don't think there's a reason for this? Again, you're pretty blind if you can't see it.

You keep trying to insult me yet you can't actually defend your argument.
Again, there have always been good non power teams. Mississippi State was #1 in the first CFP poll. Now, people like you are using that same type of performance as "evidence" that NIL has "changed everything".
The teams you're remembering as dominant, usually weren't as dominant as you're remembering them, outside of several very elite teams.
I think the top is probably a little closer to the bottom than it used to be but this argument that "everything has changed" hasn't objectively been proven to this point.

You’re right in the money but nobody wants to believe it. With rev sharing and NIL, a top tier coach can win anywhere that invests in their roster.

That's always been possible, look at the rise of Clemson with Dabo. Or LSU with Saban.
If you're willing to spend the money, you can win. A lot of programs just haven't been willing to.
Conference realignment has made it easier for those not in the SEC or B1G.

It isn’t being reported. You fell for a fake report.
