With all the openings has Crowton been mentioned with any?

I don't think so. Not sure his rep was too good after BYU, and I think he even had a bit of rebuilding his OC rep to do after Oregon. Another year like this one at LSU and he may become a hot name.

I think Crowton realizes he is better as a coordinator. He really has a great set up at LSU. Paid very well, job security, great talent to work with.

I agree with you on that. He bombed as an OC for Chicago so the NFL is out (they wouldn't let him call his last 4 games). He never should have left LA Tech.

Well, he's been a HC twice, so you never know if might not want to do it again. But I could see him as a career OC since he basically bombed in his dream job at BYU.

He has like 9 kids I think. Heard he'd rather have more time to spend with them, and if he became a HC that simply would not be possible. He was a debacle at BYU anyway, so I doubt he wants to go through that again.

Not to worry. The Arkansas fans think they will hire Will M. and that he will get Crowton to come to Arky as OC.
