you know les is soaking up all this attention and loving the speculation. hes not the egotistical attention whore some of the elite coaches are, but with all the shite hes taken from the media and lsu fans, this has to be a good feeling holding all the power in this game.

Eactly, having Alleva by the balls must feel good. Especially, drawing this thing out just to make him sweat a bit.

Totally surprised that this situation has been drawn out this long.

All the parties involved know each other well. No need for some long courtship. I could understand if we were in December but signing date is 3 weeks away.

Maybe Alleva told Miles to wait until Monday when classes start so the EE can't go somewhere else.

Yea, I think CLM and Michigan both need eachother as cover at the moment. This seems really odd that both sides are drawing this out, especially Michigan?

3 days? Never thought of this as being long and drawn out. Get a grip.

And what a class too. I just can't believe he would walk away from this team in the direction of Michigan's team. You can't even compare the two.

whoever takes over the UM job is in my opinion fighting a very tough up hill battle; Very late in the game, trying to hang on to recruits (a bad #37 ranked recruiting class to boot), must be a spread offense system guy, no defense to speak of, high school players that don't remember a UM being that good, fans itching to win NOW and their top rival OSU coming off yet another BCS Game and Suger Bowl W.

In a normal situation, it's not long at all. But there is only 4 weeks until NSD. We would still have to hire a coach and then try to keep as many recruits as possible.

Hope you are not naive enough to think that it has only been 3 days.
RR was gone before that bowl game unless he blew MsSt out. We are over a week and a half into the MI loss to State.
RR got fired Tues but not really but then it was really last Weds.
3 days is a long time with only 3 weeks left to signing day. We are not in early December.
Everyone involved is very familiar with one another. Either they want it to happen or not. But quit playing the games because it is LSU that is being fricked with - not MI and Miles.
