He's actually had success with his own players unlike Muschamp who needed Meyers players to go to sugar bowl and lose.

Actually Taggart is a good coach. I live near WKU and dude did a great job. His mentor is Harbaugh. He is turning USF around. He is a good guy

I think they are interviewing a shitload of people or make it appear that way to try and low ball whomever they hire.

I like USC as well -- I think Taggert would be better than Boom.
Some folks are HC material, others are just great coordinators

We're lovable losers.

Except for all of the fanbases who hate us.

Taggert is the real deal, built the WKU program, good with qbs, Florida recruiting ties...not a total embarrassment and didn't torpedo a powerhouse program.

After reading about how he changed their offense up midseason I've been intrigued by him. I don't think he's ready for SEC level job except for Vandy or UK. If he sticks and succeeds at USF another year I think he'd be a good fit somewhere like Ga Tech when they finally get tired of PJ.

Ga Tech would have a hard time getting a coach from USF.
Not a huge gain moving there.

It's a better program, in a better conference, and can pay more money. The only advantage I see for USF is that Taggart is from Bradenton, FL.

Negative, USCe just interviewing a minority candidate (ala Rooney Rule even though thats only NFL) to appease the masses, no shot Taggart gets this job

You can tell no one wants the job lol. Same boat as Tennessee was in after Kiffin bolted, no one wanted the job so we had to settle for a coach that was like 7th on our list

I think I go with Taggart over Muschamp, who was a total disaster at UF and I think has reached the peak in his career. I don't see a Bellichek type story with Muschamp.
