Will Texas be "ruining college football" if they pay Saban $10 million a year?

Amongst all the wailing and gnashing of teeth and righteous indignation that was the cry from the college football world when Saban took a pay cut and $4 million dollars a year to leave Miami for Alabama 7 years ago.

Does Texas get the same criticism or are they in the clear because Alabama already "ruined" it?

I do think it would be pretty ridiculous, to be honest.

Just as long as it doesn't "ruin college football" I guess it's ok.
