Hey, look what Cam did with a coach that was 5-19 when hired. Rich Rod's record is much better than that!

I'm an OU fan. Trust me, it's not going to happen. Stoops has the easiest job in the world. He makes a boatload of money, talent to compete for Big 12/BCS every year and our fanbase is relatively undemanding compared to you guys. What SEC coach could lose 5 BCS bowls in a row and still be treated like a king?

All true but what is going to happen to the Big 12? It's not going to be the same next year and might implode in 1 - 3 years. Maybe that's part of it...or that he loved his time when he was in Florida - likes being close to gulf, who knows..maybe just needs/wants a new challenge - The guy has flat out dominated the Big 12 - 7 out of 9 years.

Let's see.....

Cowboys, dust, wind, cold and flat plains vs. Hot girls in bikinis, a home on the intracoastal waterway, beaches, great fishing and UT isn't getting first pick of recruits.

Nah! He'll never leave.

He only has to compete with Texas and no Big XII championship game so he has a one game season to get in a BCS game. In Florida you have to win the SEC East, beat FSU, and win the SECCg. He'll stay. He has a beach house in Florida he can fly Boomersooner 1 to anytime he wants

Ha. I only have a few sources, but they're always very very reliable. Stoops was their top option when Spurrier left, when Zook left, and now. This is the only time it would make any kind of sense for him to leave. That's why I posed the question.

This is info that every single member of the sports media that has any kind of credibility already knows by the way.
