Umm…asking for a current status is exactly what I was doing since the link you provided was from the 2018-2019 fiscal year?
I was referring to your inane rambling about the LSU "beat down" over OU in '19 (season) playoffs. And I imagine and hope LSU would have made more money in a year that wad OBVIOUSLY and outlier.OU also finished 7th and higher in revenue in '17/'18
LINK
Bigger point being is both schools are high revenue producers (although one isn't stuck with a $30 million buyout) and both are capable of paying their HC's accordingly and BOTH have some of the better facilities in CFB.
Good Lord, you guys are acting Oklahoma is like a Baylor or a Cincinnati and it's some sort of no brainer that Riley will be your next HC.

Plenty of reasons:
Minus the Rose Bowl, which he still lost, OU doesn’t compete in the playoffs. He thinks he’ll be able to come in and run the SEC with OU? Absolutely not. Especially after all of the close calls this year - they could easily have 2-3 more losses. Same goes for last year if Baylor doesn’t blow a 28-3 game.
If he doesn’t leave for LSU, I believe he should leave for the NFL because he won’t last long at OU once they join the SEC (just my opinion). It would take OU fans and the Athletic Board to lower their expectations while they catch up to the SEC schedule.
As everyone knows OU hasn’t won a title in the 2000s and it’s only going to get more difficult when they join the SEC.

Oklahoma has signed five in-state prospects over the past three recruiting cycles. Five.
Let that sink in for the recruiting guys out there.
Sure Oklahoma does well in Texas but for those kids you’re always battling UT, A&M, Bama, tOSU, LSU, Arkansas, Baylor, TCU, etc

God you're thick and ya still don't get the point. Are you telling '19 isn't the outlier? BTW I still don't have those numbers but I wouldn't if the numbers were far apart and I imagine their revenue numbers will be better this year.
So throwing out the Covid year,it's probably 3 outta the last 4 years.
Ya still don't get the point.
Do you not understand OU is more than capable of matching a LSU offer?
Give me a reason they can't.

You’re going to be disappointed at first. Eventually you will understand why Lincoln “never won a playoff game” Riley is not the HBC at LSU.

I only asked for more recent info than your stale link which led to your “derrr they make more than LSU” comment.

They did that year and the year before and more than likely this year.

What's not to understand?

Riley isn't the one that has to be convinced. It's the one on the left.

OU hit it's hay day raiding talent from Texas. Barry Switzer built a program on it. Since those days, OU has essentially lucked into one NC back in 2000.
Riley has no chance at a NC at OU. LSU has won 3 NCs since then. Smart money and NC chances point to LSU.
