Why All the Love For Greg Robinson?
Syracuse Total Defense rankings:
2008-#101
2007-#111
2006-#107
Scoring Defense:
2008-#102
2007-#104
2006-#72
I realize a LOT of things go into these statistical results (players, offensive performance, asst. coaches, etc.), but the last time this guy had demonstrable success was in Denver. So what do some of you see in him that makes you think he'd be a good DC at LSU who would get results?

And Texas.

That was one year. A lot of things that had nothing to do with him could account for their success that year. Syracuse is a better sampling to see what he can do, and frankly its been underwhelming. Skip Holtz did a lot better with frickin ECU than Robinson did at Syracuse. (ECU Total D: 2004-#112, 2008-#41).

With that logic, you could say that Malleveto's year this year was a fluke, ALOT of thing that had nothing to do with them could account for their LACK of success this year.
By the way, I think they're awful, im just pointing out the flawed logic you chose to use.

Not to mention he was HC at Syracuse. We aren't looking at him as a HC.

on their 98 superbowl run his defense only allowed 2 TD's in the playoffs. and one of them was when the offense fumbled on their own 1 yard line. GARBAGE
