And what if those same recruits get to see first hand that the coach recruiting them is highly desired, but that he's committed to LSU because he loves it? A good percentage of the LSU fanbase, eg people these kids know, think that Les is not a desirable coach.

And again, that was last week. Before it was officially open.
Not to mention coachspeak. What's he going to say? "Yeah, if the UM job comes open, I AM OUTTA HERE!!!"?
BTW, FTR...I think he's staying. I just don't think you can put much stock in what these guys say. Especially in the moment. Things change overnight.
