Why should Miles get a better contract?

He's already making top shelf money and hasn't won anything of significance since his last raise. Nothing to deserve a raise anyway.
If his only leverage is Michigan then I think he should be allowed to leave. Even in business, there is a limit to how much you should pay for continuity's sake.

I agree...and the first time he mis-manages a game clock and we lose, we'll all be wondering why we paid him more...I say let him go and let's move forward...

I sure hope Miles is really considering the Michigan job. Doing this for more money would be a disservice to tiger nation.

depends on the alternative. if the options are bare (as they appear to be) then you pay him b/c les winning 11 games is better than hiring someone cheaper in order to save a few bucks.
