If you knew O was your fallback plan, why not talk with Jimbo after today? Why did you have to gauge his interest this week? No other schools were pursuing him.

Maybe they don't want to pay $7.5m for a guy that has lost 7 games in less than 2 years, 3 by blowout fashion, all to lesser talented teams.

That's my feelings.. there is literally no benefit to announcing O now.. at least give it one more shot. Joe was swayed by the same fans that wanted Miles back last year..
