Why isn't Dave Toub getting any interview opportunities?

Special Teams Coordinator for the Chiefs. I think he's the best candidate out there actually and yet crickets.

NFL teams need to stop hiring assistant coaches as head coaches!

John Harbaugh was never more than a ST Corrdinator prior to getting the Ravens HC job. Not a stretch.

Yeah but it's rare and even Harbaugh was a DB coach for a decade along with being SC coordinator, plus his pedigree probably helped him get a shot. Not saying Toub doesn't deserve any buzz but for not having done anything but special teams in the NFL he gets a good amount of HC buzz. He was in it for the Colts last year and Broncos when Vance Joseph was hired.
Dan Campbell's in a similar situation of never having been a coordinator but he has that interim experience and most importantly he's a Parcells guy.
