and he will come running??????????????????

I believe that after the past few days, Miles will stay at LSU........He is an honorable man and he and his family have grown fond of LSU and Baton Rouge......

He had not inking that the lSU job would turn out to be the greatest job of his career........He doesn't want to leave LSU now.....even for Michigan....his 1st love........

He is dedicated to his NOW players and that means more to him than Michigan.......

If LSU was not on track to win the SEC and a possible NC.....he would bolt to Michigan in a heart beat.....

but, it ain't gona happen....

I'll bet you a LARGE wager that if Michigan offers him the job, he's gone.

That was not, as I read it, the crux of your original post. You talked about him loving LSU, he's a family man...etc. That led you to say he won't leave. I have no idea IF he will be offered the job. Your post was not about IF he would be offered; it was about he would turn it down if offered.
I'm saying if he's offered, he will take it. Since I don't drink alcohol, let's just make it an even $500. Bet??

So the bet is.....If he is offered, he will take it......and I am saying he will NOT be offered and he will stay at LSU........

so, if he is offered and does not take it....I win...

and if he is not offered I win....

He has to be offered and take the job for you to win........

Word is that Miles' wife isn't as taken with BR/La, as was Saban's wife socially, though she is very cordial and charming.

Miles' body language of the three times in person, and also a few on tv, that I've seen the question posed, says he takes the UM job if offered.

However, Carr's input, UM's Martin final choice, seven weeks of Michigan recruiting needs going unaddressed between now and Jan-8th, and a possible 3.5M salary guarantee by LSU should LSU win out, all will have their say in the storyline.

Here's my Odds:

Miles is offered new Contract (3.5 mill year) after SEC Champgame with Michigan buyout clause of about 20 million (Odds: 2:1)

Michigan offers Les a job (2 mill year) All bets are off because it will happen

Les takes Michigan job and has to leave LSU prior to playing for the crystal ball. (Odds 8:1 against)

Stays for 5 or more years then replaces the new struggling Mich coach (3:1)

Saban is contacted by LSU to check out his happiness at ALAbuma. (2:1 if Miles doesn't sign contract)

Board of Supervisors are split on Spurrier & Tuberville and create a media frenzy with both coaches in Baton Rouge on same weekend eating ribs at TJ's tab picked up by Shawgroup...

rant over...
meds are wearing off (or are they)

Have you had any private conversations with Miles about this subject?

Did you read the comments by his best friend in some of the links posted?

The way I see it if LM was gonna stay he would have already signed an extension. Skip said he could have what ever it would take. LES simply could say Skip and I are working on the extension as we speak. Mich I hope you hear this and dont waste your time calling.
Miles knows what a terrible distraction this is for the 18 to 22 year old kids that play for him. He knows it is hurting LSU's chances at a MNC.
If he wanted to end it today he could have.

Les is gone if offered....I say thanks Les its been real nice...don't let the door hit you in the arse on your way out....time to start the coaching search. LM is looking out for numero uno...so should LSU!!!
