No. It’s that he did it at a comparable school then stepped up and did it again in the big leagues. And now he’s coaching in the NFL. If you’re looking at both resumes blindly and want comfort as to who is most likely to have long term success it’s Rhule. He’s literally done everything Napier has and then much more.

He hasn't.
The four years he spent coaching at Calvary Baptist are something of a substitute in that he at least would have gained some relationships with high school coaches in Louisiana. It's not the same as being a coordinator at Arkansas or Ole Miss, for example, but it's somewhat relevant experience.
If you search his name you'll find some articles about what happened at Philadelphia and they give some reason to think he's a real diamond in the rough. If you can win a Super Bowl dealing with Jeff Lurie and the Eagles' front office there's maybe nothing you can't do at a place like LSU.
I'm not saying this is the top hire out there. But I am saying there is every reason to think he'd be very successful here.

Tell me how many big games Napier won. They couldn't hang with Texas at all this year, just beat ULM by 5.
