You wouldnt be able to hire good coaches if they didnt have security.
If LSU offered Joe Blow a 2yr, $5mil contract with no security
and
Alabama offered the same coach 2yr, $5mil, almost fully guaranteed
where do you think the coach will want to go?
and when you hire a coach, you know the commitment. In your head at the time, everything will work out. That is the guy for the job.
