Why did Joe Alleva fire Les Miles without his man already in hand?

Alleva promised CEO that he would be considered for the head job after the season. So, unless Alliva lied to everyone, including CEO, he could not have had his replacement when he told Les to hit the road.

Meanwhile all this time goes by and NOTHING is accomplished in our search. We were promised a legitimate search for a name brand. We lose to Alabama and Florida everyone assumes CEO didn't meet expectations, or so we are told.

After 12 months to get it right, we wait until this weekend to pitch our job to Herman, get told "no," then act like we're forced to hire Orgeron? That's it? Why not wait a little longer to see what domino drops going forward. NFL coaches for example? But we now have to panic and get CEO? Something stinks in Denmark. Lazy, cheap, incestuous. It's the Louisiana way. Your destiny. Like the saints and your government. Trash. Unfortunately, LSU can't withstand the incompetence all around it.

If we end up getting Fisher or Herman, then I am wrong.
