Why did Auburn speculation initially go more to Freeze, and not Kiffin?

Both guys have proven they can score on Saban. Kiffin has much less baggage. I don't get it.

Because Lane is in year one at a SEC school and Freeze is at some little school named Liberty

Kiffin would add another 13 million to the 21 million they must payout before they even start paying their new head coach

Anything Lane can do at Auburn, he can accomplish in Oxford, and he just got there

Plus then they would have to buy out the current auburn coach’s and all of the coach’s on ole miss aswell. Just in buyout money it could reach up to 50m

What rock have you been living under?

Kiffin was fired after a year and a half by the Raiders.

Kiffin had one semi-decent year at Tennessee and bolted leaving their program in shambles.

Kiffin was so bad at USC he got removed from the team bus after a game and told to find his own way home.

Kiffin does not even have a winning record right now at Ole Miss. So they score a few points. A head coach is responsible for winning games and building a program, not cool offensive stats.

Cause Freeze appears to be a better all around coach?

Kiffin would be taking a step down at Auburn

True, but we know Kiffin has left after one year before, and we've seen it from Willie Taggart, Todd Graham and others so it's not some freak occurrence.

I'm just surprised there isn't more speculation, especially from Auburn fans.

None of this comes close to having escorts' numbers in your school-issued cell phone
