What’s the early exit fee OU has to pay to leave the Big 12?
Saw somewhere between 76 and 80 million. That’s like 4 times the Orgeron and staff buyouts. Could be why OU is sweating a huge salary increase.

What nobody is talking about is their 85 Million Dollar Big 12 buy/opt out......
Their not in a prime position for a bidding war

I agree with OP. Every quiet day is a great day for us.
1) Woodward would not have put out such a huge offer without a deadline, and just let himself and our future dangle in the wind for days and weeks while his other fallback options could get new jobs elsewhere.
2) We have not heard an announcement by OU that Riley has agreed to an extension for 9-10 million per year, or even that an extension is in the works. If Riley did in fact turn us down it would only be because he has a raise, and he would not turn down a 96 million dollar offer without something signed by OU.
3) We have not heard anything from Riley himself other than "I am the coach at Oklahoma"
4) We have not heard of LSU making any other offers to any other coaches.

Thats a good point. I'm pretty sure the wheels started turning in Woodys head the moment he heard about OU leaving the big12
