Thing he IS NOT the best third choice. And NO one knows for 100% we can't get either deal done or what smokescreen is being put up. And yeah that takes into account your contact that works next to a certain coach who may have their own agenda to sabotage something or part of a smokescreen. Yeah I caught that the other night:). Maybe they aren't, maybe they are.
People talking in absolutes right now is not very cool. It does not make you look smarter. There are only a handful of folks who have the most up to date 411. And none of them are on here are on the radio. You could be right, you could be wrong. Anything can happen.

It takes more than passion. It takes game planning, control over their players instead of letting the indians run the chiefs, Xs and Os and wisdom. O has nothing but passing and is a mental midget when it comes to being a HC. I may be wrong, but I am very pessimistic of long term success under O.

None of these reasons justify his hire long term. However, O has make some very calculated moves to pander to the fanbase, former players and local media to position himself for this job.
This sums it up. As a fan, I WANT him to be successful, but I know he's just not HC material.
Getting a "top notch" OC like those people say isn't that simple. I can't name a single one that hasn't become a HC.
