Who would be better for recruiting

Jimbo or Herman? I think both are very capable coaches and wouldn't be upset with either one, so I'm going with who I believe would recruit better at LSU. I believe the edge goes to Jimbo here as he is already familiar with the area and has already run a program that gets top 5 classes.

Jimbo's only decent attribute to me is his recruiting ability. He's a terrible play caller and in game coach to me.

Jimbo is a recruiting genius, and can develop quarterbacks at any age. Hopefully he can get the qb transfer from Baylor. We would be back in the championship run with this guy.

No one really knows about Hermans true recruiting abilities yet but Jimbo is a damn good recruiter. I would put him in the same class as Les, Urban and Saban.
Name to watch it Jimbo comes to LSU is Trevor Lawrence. Kids a freak show out of Georgia. It was suppose to come down to UGA, Clemson and Tennessee but UGA has landed 2 great QB prospects in Eason and Jake Fromm, Clemson Judy landed Hunter Johnson (many consider him to be the #1 overall QB in this class) and his dad doesn't want him playing in Tennessee zone read (worried he'll take too many hits)
TLDR: Jimbos an ace recruiter. No one can be 100% sure on what Herman can do.

He's is and will be the best play caller LSU has ever had and the king of halftime adjustments. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you haven't watched many FSU games.

ESPECIALLY this year. didnt they make crazy adjustments in their first 3 games to come back and win?
I know they did against Ole Miss opening night.

Jimbo, no question.
It's still unknown how well Herman will recruit in the long run... Not enough data yet. Jimbo has a long track record of being an ace recruiter and winning the recruiting battles with LSU/UF/Auburn/Bama/Etc

I'll go with the one that coached a Heisman and has a NC. Herman could be a superstar recruiter, we just don't have enough evidence of it at the moment.
