Gene Chizik or Dan Mullen?
Gene Chizik didn't really do anything spectacular at Iowa State and Dan Mullen is unproven. Plus, it's easier to recruit to Auburn than Mississippi State, so it seems.

Auburn really dropped the ball with the Chizik hire. Turner Gill had a much better looking resume.

OK..
I wish I could say who is the best hire.
The truth is that time will tell.
It will not be easy to reach an acceptable level of performance at Auburn...
because of how Auburn measures success...AND vs. Alabama (Saban) as well.
