The next guy to win 2 titles in a row. Pete Carroll was Saban before Saban was Saban.

If TCU could win it all, TCU could become the next "U". Or if Patterson were to go to a more accommodating recruiting situation.

Jimbo Fisher.
Great success at Florida State, and rumors that it might be a good time for both parties to have a fresh start. Fisher won't leave, but this is my answer to your OP question.

Jim McElwain and Justin Fuente will be great HCs when they go onto bigtime platforms as their next stops.
Rich Rod's Az rebuild has totally moved him back into the elite HC class. He had garbage parts at Mich.
Graham at ASU is a really good HC, and seemingly finally putting down some roots.
Urban obviously the closest to CNS in stature and dominance.
Jimbo, really probably 3rd on the totem pole, whether by current win streak, hardware, and at a place FSU in ACC, where he can roll, and is of current.
Les Miles, whether folks want to admit it or not, has a ring, natty, two BCSCG appreances, and a litany of 10 win seasons, OOC dominance,etc..elite HC credentials...and I'm a bit of a Negatiger!
Next Saban? Guy is about to win his 5th Natty, answer to your question is nobody. But, do think playoff will probably eventually get Urban another one, and Jimbo too.

Some good names being thrown out by posters. To answer some of your questions I meant the next Saban in terms of rumors and brother's friend whose cousin works with somebody, etc, etc. LOl

Actually, Nick's uncle Lou was Saban before Saban was Saban.
He coached teams including the University of Miami, Army, University of Central Florida and Peru State College. He also coached at the high school level and for two Arena Football League teams. Saban switched jobs frequently and developed a reputation as an itinerant. At Central Florida, he was nicknamed Lou "two point two" Saban because he typically stayed in a coaching job for about 2.2 years. Saban initially dismissed this characterization, but came to accept it later in life. He held 21 coaching jobs during his 50-year career......
